About Us
Serst S.r.l. was founded in Capaccio Paestum to bring simple and concrete innovation to tourism and other sectors. Our mission is to develop digital tools that simplify management, improve the customer experience, and allow people to focus on what really matters: human contact and quality of service.
The need arose from direct observation of the sector: in Italy most tourism businesses, like many others, are family-run. These realities often have limited investment opportunities and, during generational transitions, struggle to face the challenge of modernization. Some succeed in innovating, others do not, and in many cases the work of a lifetime risks being lost.
The founder, Salvatore Amatruda, grew up in a family-run tourist facility, working from a very young age between reception, pitches, and accounting. This direct experience shaped a unique vision: technology must be a help, not an obstacle, simple and structured, to allow business managers to focus more on the human value of hospitality and on customer contact.
The name Serst was created as an umbrella brand for our products, including Serstcoin,
and recalls the Sesterces of ancient Rome:

exchange,

It is also a reference to Services, Structures, and Smart Technologies — the three souls inspiring our work.
We believe in a product-driven approach, fast and flexible, turning innovative ideas into practical solutions capable of adapting to different contexts.

We offer a modular and integrated ecosystem that grows alongside businesses: a reliable and transparent platform that reduces unnecessary steps and makes operational and financial decisions clearer.
Where needed, we integrate decentralized architectures to enable new service models. Not top-down solutions, but tools built with those who work on the field every day.

Our technology is designed to be secure, scalable, and easily integrable with existing systems. Not an end in itself, but a concrete means to enable innovation.

Among the core projects is Serstchain, our blockchain infrastructure that enables vertical application modules when needed. We always choose the technology best suited to the context, not the most complex.

Serst’s journey began with a specific project: Serstcoin. From here our vision took shape: simple, reliable, and accessible digital tools, able to innovate the tourism sector and beyond.
Serstcoin is a platform based on blockchain technologies designed to introduce new models of service, loyalty, and collaboration between businesses and territories. It represents the first building block of a broader Serst ecosystem, where technology is not an end in itself but a tool to simplify and enhance relationships.
